FREE GIFT ! Large Pair of English Victorian Split Leg Staffordshire Dogs with White Coat

A large pair of English Victorian period slit leg Staffordshire dogs from the 19th century with textured coat and gilded collars. Created in England during the reign of Queen Victoria, each of this pair of Staffordshire dogs features a white-coated dog with textured areas, accented with black touches. Wearing gilt collars, the dogs showcases split legs. Queen Victoria's first dog Dash was likely the source of inspiration for Staffordshire figures in the 19th century. While Staffordshire figures were typically placed on a mantelpiece with less attention placed on their back, our pieces are fully decorated all around. With their soft color and nice proportions, this pair of 19th century Victorian split leg Staffordshire dogs will make for a great decorative addition to any home.
